helloooo....everybody.!
*wipe monitor clean*
so dirty lehs..haha
new year, new beginnings.
christmas 2007 was okay i guess.
celebrated with nyp ballers@ JT's hse,
went to 3rd aunt's annual party.
food galore,
new friendships made, new things, everything new lah.
stayed overnight 2 days at 4th uncle's hse..
2 wks holidays are officially over,
but i guess i'm still classified under "on holiday"
it all started on new yrs' eve,
went to stay overnight at yinsy's hse with reeesssvy members..
celebrated yinsy's b'dae too..
felt a bit unwell upon reaching home,
and it stayed the same on new year's day.
1st day of sch looms,
suddenly experienced heart palpitations again..
went to sk polyclinic,
given MC for the day.
did blood test.
2nd day of sch,
rushed to see doc AGAIN.
did ECG test.
given MC. AGAIN
& letter for sgh's A&E should anything happen to me. =.=
stayed at home.
3rd day of sch,
bo bian have to rush to sgh's A&E
after suffering heart palpitations worse than before..
the nurse screening me outside A&E thought i was joking with her.
do i look like i'm joking?!
GOODNESS.
i know i'm young,
but there aren't any scientists willing to confirm that teenagers don't have heart attacks...
if ppl go to A&E for fun,
might as well change the name to playground lah.~
114 bucks for the trip there is NO JOKE k?!
did ECG.AGAIN.
Blood test.AGAIN.
wait for doc to diagnose me also take 1hr...
landed up in A&E's emergency observation ward .
8 hrs in there, with tubes and needes attached on my body.
I STILL CANT BELIEVE I STARED AT THE CEILING FOR 8HRS.!
8 hrs man.
*amazed*
hospital dinner tasted nice for a change.
*super amazed*
2 middle-aged men & 1 old man were opposite me in the ward.
then as A&E ppl passed by,
everyone thought that i belonged to the wrong part of SGH.
wadthehell.
super heng i escaped from being warded.
after 4 more ECGs..
damn happy to be rid of the bloody heart monitor like u see in TV.
given referral letter to see endocrine specialist next mth.
Saturday,
palpitations on & off.
ate pills dutifully,
cant slp at night. =(
Sunday,
same as saturday.
Monday,
my heart was trying very hard to break my ribcage.
felt as if i was hit by a hammer =.=
2nd trip to A&E,
doc suspected me of faking my illness.
O.O
to doc:so u think its fun to go in and out of A&E?
do u have any idea how many days i've missed in sch?!
REALLY, stupid ppl ask stupid questions.was given a choice to either stay in hopital, or change the dosage of medicine,
i haven't reply, doc answered the qn HIMSELF!!!
OMG.!!!!
QI SI REN LE...
given some tranquilisers to slp at night.
plus another referral letter to see cardiologist.
tranquilisers no use de lo...
-SIGHS-
of all days,
my ah ma just had to go for eye surgery on the same day.
she was so scared that her blood prssure went up to 200.?!
heng i nvr tell her abt my condition beforehand,
otherwise even worse seh.
Tuesday,
realised that still on MC...
heng have lo...
cos i whole day totally feel as if
i've just ran finish coach's 100rounds around the track.
KNS.
anyway, its confirmed that i wun be able to train for a period of time..
feeling quite sad that i've to choose between bball/sch/health soon...
Today,
palpitations returned again even after medicine was taken.
went to polyclinic,
my mum really blew up...
as in demanding that the doc there help us book appt to see the cardiologist earlier..
cos no appt fixed yet by A&E.
1st time see any doc scared of her.
LOL
middle of consultation,
chris chia called.
had to reject his call,
then called again.
i'm really deciding whether to defer my studies,
cos i know that if i go back to sch now,
i can't catch up with the work...
all my holiday assignments not submitted yet lo...
my attendance is as low as hell,
and with the added distraction of the illness
which will cause me to fall sick every other day,
i might as well make use of the deferring period to regain my health,
then come back to sch healthy and focused again...
rather than taking tons of MC's
and affecting my studies..
but chris chia said that i have to write a letter to the director himself...
that's where the problem lies.
i haven't seen the endocrine&cardio specialist yet,
so i still dunno whether its dosage/thyroid/heart prob...
and how long it'll last...
if its long term,
then i've no choice but to defer my studies..
this is my dilemna now.
i just wanna say a big thank you to those who show their concern for me...
i've havent told some yet, cos i dun wan them to worry about me..
yup.
