first things first....

my family's decided to engage a maid next door to take care of ah ma,
so everybody gathered next door last sunday..
and there were 5 pages of maid profiles
which were obtained by THAT snob next door.
everybody flipped through the pages,
so did i, out of curiorsity.
and then she suddenly appeared beside me,
and said loudly in front of others:
eh! maid is i decide one arh~ not YOU decide de hor.!
remember....is i come back and face her leh...etc


wadthefuck.
i did not even mention a single word while browsing through the pages,
and yet she has to do this to me.
as if i wanted to choose liddat..?!
stared at her coldly,
and for once, she stepped away after receiving the full force of it.
i am so appalled by her behaviour nowadays,
i just wished that i could strangle her now and then.

1min later, she was speaking to everybody of the maids in a barbaric manner,
imposing her own brand of propaganda,
trying to advertise that she is the "right" candidate to decide which maid to hire..
which i dare to say, ruffled a few feathers then,
to my amusement.
she clearly doesn't know what's the meaning of shutting up and sit in a corner quietly.

another drama soon unfolded in the kitchen,
when my mum was preparing the food for dinner.
4th aunt, who NEVER helps out whenever she's here,
suddenly felt "inspired" to help out,
i had an instinct that smth is gonna happen soon.
and it did.
my mum wanted to fry omelette,
then 4th aunt insisted that putting onions would taste better,
and that she always does it at home.
so she went to get the onions and began cutting them,
then she began tearing just cutting it 1min later.
come on, if cannot cut, dun kea kiang go and snatch the 2 onions away from my mother la.!
my mum wanted to cut them initially,
then duty was snatched away[literally] by her.
and she emerged from the kitchen dabbing toilet paper on her tears,
acting as if my mother bullied her by asking her to cut the onions,
which my mum never did.
gained quite abit of attention, then THAT snob was definitely unhappy
'cos the limelight was taken from her.

for many years, we've done without a maid, and we were fine with it.
until now,
when my ah ma finally had no strength to cook a meal for herself...
the maid is there to take care of her while everybody's at work/school,
to keep her company
and also to do a bit of housekeeping.

but i really dun see why a big fuss has to be made just from the choosing part.
power battle between 2 women,
trying to stamp their authority and capability
through this.
proclaiming that these is for the good for ah ma,
when in reality they dun mean it.
fillial piety comes from within,
not from gifts and sweety words to bluff the elderly.
ah ma knows this, but she yearns for care&concern,
so she closes 1 eye to everything,
in order not to create trouble.

create trouble??
THAT snob wouldn't even talk to her for 3 sentences a day,
while 4th aunt only por her.
i rather she do smth about it than to leave it at its current state.
otherwise, its really gonna be explosive when ah ma is no longer holding the family tgt.

secondly,
i've decided to play for kg ubi kembangan at youth cup.
i can use this chance to find my old stamina back,
and also to improve my skills.
it'll be interesting to see whether i can match up to other centers at youth cup,
since it'll be a gauge for POL-ITE & IVP too.
i can't wait to be back to my best again=)


thirdly,
ytd was gym-ing session.
i find that gym is so much tiring as compared to normal training,
dun ask me why.
maybe due to lack of cardio vascular exercises bah..
on the whole, i felt that i wasted it,
because self discipline vanished from within me.
slacked around,
no motivation at all.
*kick myself*
must learn how to clear the mind.


fourthly,
compass point's KFC is undergoing renovations...
i miss the days when the team'll go eat KFC after trgs.
it should open in 1wk time.


fifthly,
recontracted broadband service.
waiting for the free installation of mio tv.
i wished it was starhub instead,
then i can watch live football matches..
speaking of which,
MAN UTD 2 ARSENAL 1
yay.!~
man u will win EPL title & champions league.=))))))


lastly,
i've bought contact lenses.!
which is like finally...
discovered that i have astigmatism
which i never had before.
anyway,still have to wait for the optical shop to call me.
